A DAILY DECLARATION — Life in Christ

You are encouraged to say and pray this out loud.

I declare that by grace, through faith, I am in Christ and Christ is in me.

Because I am united with Christ:

  • I have been chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world.

  • I have been crucified with Christ. My sins are forgiven

  • I have been raised to new life with Christ. I am born again and eternally alive.

  • I count myself dead to sin and alive to God in Christ.

  • I have been rescued from the authority of darkness and transferred into the Kingdom of Light.

  • I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms and share in His Kingdom victory, power, and authority.

  • I look forward to the return of Christ, when He will bring salvation and the completion of His Kingdom.

  • God is my Father, and I can call Him Abba.

  • I have been filled with the Holy Spirit, whom Christ has poured out on me.

  • Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit continually intercede for me, giving me bold confidence in both life and death.

Therefore, I take my stand in the mighty power of God against the devil’s schemes by putting on the full armor of God:

  • The belt of truth,

  • The breastplate of righteousness,

  • The footwear of the Good News of peace,

  • The shield of faith, with which I extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one,

  • The helmet of salvation,

  • The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,

  • And I pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for all God’s people.

I now declare to my enemies — to my flesh, to the world, and to Satan:

  • I am in Christ and Christ is in me.

  • Jesus is my Savior and Lord.

  • Jesus is my Commander and King.

  • Jesus is my righteousness, holiness, and freedom.

  • In Christ, I have authority to overcome all the power of the enemy.

  • So I say, get behind me, Satan.

  • I claim the protection of the name of Jesus Christ over myself (include the names of your family and anything entrusted to your care that is under spiritual attack).

  • And I commit to live today for glory of God the Father by remaining in Jesus and in His Word and by keeping in step with the Spirit.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
